There’s something sacred about finally choosing yourself. Not in a “self-care Sunday” way (though I’m here for that too), but in a deeply intentional, soul-awakening, no-more-half-living kind of way. That’s where Lavendare was born — in the cracks of old love, worn stories, and relationships that didn’t honor my truth.

I didn’t set out to create a matchmaking platform. I set out to create a mirror. A space where people like me — the seekers, the feelers, the ones who want more than cute dates and filtered selfies — could find themselves first. And then maybe, just maybe, find someone who actually fits.

Because we deserve that. Period.

🌿 A Different Kind of Love Story

Lavendare came to life during one of the most honest seasons of my journey. I was unraveling. Shedding versions of myself I no longer recognized. Walking away from people, beliefs, even dreams that had once kept me safe but now kept me small.

I asked myself:

“What if love didn’t mean sacrifice?”

“What if connection didn’t mean confusion?”

“What if I could find a partner, or even a Pobice (platonic best friend-spouse),

"Who actually matched my soul’s rhythm?”

Lavendare isn’t a dating site — it’s a soul site. A space for people to meet from the inside out.

📖 The Inner Work Came First

Before I matched anybody, I matched with my damn self. I dug deep. I journaled. I meditated. I called my power back from every room I’d left it in. And when I built this site, I built it with that same kind of reverence.

That’s why Lavendare starts with you. Before you meet anyone else, you meet you — through guided journaling, prompts, and reflection tools I personally curated and tested.

This ain’t about rushing into a connection.It’s about rooting into one.

🛠 How I Built It (and What Makes It Different)

This whole thing was bootstrapped from the heart. I built it on a laptop full of vision boards and audio notes to myself that started with “Okay, so here’s another wild idea…”

I used Wix to give it a home, infused every page with purpose, and refused to make it salesy, fake, or forced. You won’t find performative BS here. You’ll find honesty, creativity, and a lil’ spiritual spice.
